Christopher Tudor (born c. 1975) was an independent candidate for the office of Washington State Governor in 2008. The Seattle-based entrepreneur currently serves as the Chairman of the Travelodge Board within the Wyndham Worldwide Hotel Group Corporation, representing all of the United States-based franchisee interests. This is the first time Tudor, a 33-year-old hotelier, has run for office. He owns The College Inn near the University of Washington in Seattle and has campaigned by doing "neighborhood outreach," such as going to Seattle's Fremont Fair and speaking to groups, including the Seattle Yacht Club.〔The Seattle Times, July 27, 2008〕 Tudor, who has homes in Indianola but lives most of the time in Seattle, is a graduate of the University of Washington who paints himself as someone who can bring new ideas and a feel for the needs of small businesses with his campaign. He lists environmental protection, education and transportation as issues he disagrees with both prominent Republic and Democratic Party candidates for Washington State governor about.〔The Olympian, May 6, 2008〕 ==See also== *Washington Gubernatorial Election *Travelodge Hotels *Gov.
